Abstract

Kesejahteraan mental merupakan aspek penting dalam kehidupan manusia, namun trauma seringkali menjadi hambatan yang signifikan. Terapi naratif muncul sebagai pendekatan inovatif dalam mengatasi trauma dengan memanfaatkan konstruktivisme sosial sebagai kerangka kerja. Konstruktivisme sosial menekankan pentingnya makna yang dibentuk melalui interaksi sosial dalam membentuk realitas individu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur review untuk menyusun pemahaman mendalam mengenai teori terapi naratif dan konstruktivisme sosial. Data dikumpulkan melalui penelusuran literatur terkait di berbagai sumber akademis. Fokus penelitian ini adalah aspek-aspek terapi naratif, termasuk teknik, proses intervensi, dan strategi pemulihan yang telah diidentifikasi dalam literatur khusus. Selanjutnya, penelitian mencari pemahaman mendalam mengenai konsep-konsep utama dalam konstruktivisme sosial. Penelitian juga memfokuskan pada literatur yang membahas berbagai jenis trauma, mekanisme respons psikologis terhadap trauma, dan bagaimana terapi naratif dapat memberikan dukungan dalam pemulihan dari pengalaman traumatis. Hasil literatur review menunjukkan bahwa terapi naratif, dengan pendekatan konstruktivis sosial, efektif dalam membantu individu mengatasi trauma dengan merestrukturisasi naratif hidup mereka, menggali makna baru, dan mempromosikan dukungan sosial. Kesimpulannya adalah terapi naratif yang didasarkan pada konstruktivisme sosial dapat menjadi alat yang kuat dalam mengatasi trauma dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan mental. Pemahaman lebih lanjut tentang interaksi sosial dan konstruksi makna dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan intervensi yang lebih efektif dalam konteks terapi mental.
